Dæmons
As an evoker, you can use up to 6 dæmons in combat against your opponents. Each dæmon has access to different techniques and traits that give them a unique advantage on the battlefield. It is up to you to craft a team of winners using whatever tactics necessary to obtain victory!
Techniques
Before a dæmon can fight, it needs to know some techniques to use in combat. Some techniques unleash powerful attacks on your foes, while others boost your your dæmon's stats or recover its health. Choose which techniques to use carefully: dæmons can only learn 4!

Terminology
Like lots of games, Dæmon Club has a bunch of specific terminology that can be confusing at first glance. Here you'll find in-depth descriptions of all the terms we use.

Priority
Priority is used in determining what order techniques are used. If a move has +1 priority, it will be used before techniques with no priority, and techniques with -1 priority will go after techniques with no priority. For example, let's say we take a Fungiku and use Rocket Punch against a Prophesus who uses Mindblast. Fungiku will use Rocket Punch before Prophesus gets to use Mindblast because it has +1 priority and Mindblast has no extra priority (+0).
Here's a simple list of how the game decides what happens first:
- Do both techniques have the same priority? If no, whichever technique has higher priority goes first. If yes, go to #2:
- Do both daemons have the same speed? If no, whichever daemon has higher speed uses their technique first. If yes, go to #3:
- Whichever player submitted their action first will have their daemon use their technique first.

Stages
Stages are stat modifications that get applied to daemons through techniques, perks, tags, equipment, and invocations. The more stages applied to a stat, the greater the ratio and stat value will be; negative stages hve the opposite effect: the ratio and stat values will be smaller. Stats can have up to +6 or -6 stages applied to them. The stat modifier applied at each stage can be seen below:

So if my daemon has +3 stages to toughness, the true toughness value will be twice as much as normal. If that daemon had -3 stages to toughness, the true toughness value would be half as much as normal. Similarly, if we had +6 stages to toughness, the true toughness will be three times greater than normal, and -6 stages to toughness would mean that the true toughness is one-third of normal toughness.

Status Effects
Status effects afflict daemons with an effect that is permanent until removed.
- Burned dæmons have their energy and toughness reduced by 20%.
- All techniques used by crippled dæmons have -1 priority. This drop in priority stacks with other drops in priority.
- Disoriented dæmons inflict recoil damage to themselves with every attack they use. This does not stack with other recoil inducing effects.
- Frostbitten dæmons have their power and resilience reduced by 20%.
- Poisoned dæmons lose 10% of their maximum health every turn.
- Stunned dæmons can't take any actions so long as they are stunned.
